Erin Sipes
Hi, my name is Erin Sipes. I’m a writer, crafter, and homeschooling mother of three based out of rural Missouri. Like many others, I started my blog, My Very Educated Mother, back in 2008, as a place to keep family up to date with all the fun projects we were doing around the house.
It wasn’t until 2011, after I’d quit my ‘real’ job that I started to really dive into blogging as a creative outlet. Becoming a part of the crafting, online community has been such a blessing and brought so many opportunities to my life. I love crafting and don’t limit myself to one niche or medium, but I must say, my favorite crafts are usually those that involve recycling and paper.
Over the past two years my crafts, recipes, and antiquing skills have been featured on numerous websites and in magazines such a All You, MaryJanes Farm, and Kids Crafts 1-2-3.
