Ruth Hamilton

My name is Ruth Hamilton and I am an avid paper crafter. I live in beautiful Northern Ireland.

My many interests include drawing, gardening, flower arranging, interior design as well as paper crafts.

I am usually busy creating! I enjoy making and publishing craft-related videos on my YouTube channel and occasionally I post little scenic videos of beautiful Northern Ireland.

I always have a notepad and pencil at the ready as you just never know what can inspire you in nature or your surroundings. I have a website where you can find many of my drawings as digital images which can be bought, downloaded, and coloured to use on cards.

My predominant theme is florals. I’m always drawing, colouring or just “thinking” flowers!

I have been involved in the craft industry for several years. I started off drawing images to use on cards for my own use and then went on to design some stamps for a well-known craft company before moving on to regularly demonstrating craft products at trade events, craft shows, and in retail outlets.

Until Covid struck, I was regularly out and about demonstrating. I loved all the interaction and feedback I got when I met up with other crafters.

I was a contributor to Crafts Beautiful magazine for a couple of years and also to Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine for 8 years until it closed in 2020. I now contribute to Tonic Studios magazine, Creative Stamping, Die Cutting Essentials, and Mental Health UK magazine among others.

I am a Content Creator for Tonic Studios and have been making samples and tutorials for them for many years and more recently, video tutorials.

I have also demonstrated Trimcraft, Pebeo, Promarkers, Derwent, Plaid, Sculpey, edding, and elements products.

Although I mostly craft using a manual die-cutting machine, I also own a Cricut and use SVGs. I just need more hours in the day!
