I saw a tutorial years ago to make a similar wreath with a wire hanger and strips of plastic grocery bags, and I liked the idea of using up some of those extra bags I always have. But, this is a cool idea,too. Coffee filters are really inexpensive, so this is a low cost craft and coffee filters are always perfect for Christmas crafts.

I make something similar out of plastic sandwich bags and everyone loves them. How well do yours hold up after hanging on the wall or door for a while? Mine do well for several years, but I am worried that the coffee filters might not be as durable. I guess since they are so simple to make that you could make a fresh wreath every year.
