I've found origami very relaxing and you can make some pretty cool items like this Polish Star Christmas Ornament! The You Tube video instruction is wonderful because if you're slower like myself you can always pause to catch up with the artisan.These would be lovely done in a glitter paper. They would catch the light and shimmer beautifully!

This is pretty cool. I remember making one of these when I was in elementary school. Another great idea for a fun family holiday craft. I want to make a few small ones to decorate gifts under the tree.
