Map Paper Beaded Jewelry

"It's easy to come by old out of date road maps as most people use sat navs these days. These maps are great for crafting with. They come in lots of different colours and the roads and marking make interesting patterns. The paper is often of high quality and comes in large sheets too. Also, if you use the map of somewhere special it can add an extra sentimental dimension to your crafts. I used my maps to make some very simple lovely paper beads which I then turned into a bracelet/cuff and necklace."
