When I saw the name of these earrings I knew they had to have a back story. So I researched and found that it seems they're from Nepal and India originally. They began as southern India temple jewelry to decorate the deities. The original word means ear flower! Each region has their own unique design. They are beautiful indeed! I can't wait to try them quilled!
