Pinecone Pilgrim Turkey With Handprints

- pinecone
- cardstock or pattered paper
- google eyes
- 2 inch foam ball
- brown acrylic paint
- red and yellow chenille stems
- scissors
- glue
Instructions

Paint foam ball with brown acrylic paint

While paint dries trace hand print onto cardstock or scrapbook paper and cut out

Glue handprints to the stem end of pinecone and foam ball to the top to create turkey shape

Assemble turkey face by inserting 1/2 inch piece of yellow chenille stem into ball and wrapping 2 inch piece of chennile stem around it. Attach google eyes

To create male pilgrim hat cut 3 inch circle from black cardstock and draw 3/4 of 2 inch circle inside. Cut out. Cut edges from the circle and fold up to create hat shape. Embellish with small strip of white cardstock and glitter.

To create kerchief for female pilgrim cut white cardstock 2x4 inches. Cut trapezoid piece 1/2 inch in leaving 2 inches centered at the top and fold 1/4 inch up from the bottom. Attach ties if desired.
