Within this set comes 24 colored pencils ranging from bright pinks and reds all the way to dark purples and pinks; it truly does have a beautiful range of colors. These colored pencils are great when matched with OOLY's sketchbooks, but can also be used with your typical printer paper or construction paper. You'll also receive 3 number 2 graphite pencils and a sharpener in the set, so they can always have a sharp pencil to sketch with.


Adding light shades of color can bring out areas in graphite sketches, but we all know little kids like to use every color to scribble their designs. What I really like about this set is that kids can draw their pictures out first and erase them until they are perfected, before using the colored pencils to color it all in.
