Create stunning projects using a classic medium! The GelWriter Gel Pens by ECR4Kids are beautiful, ergonomic pens that allow you to write and color in vibrant shades. Available in this extensive 100-count set, these gel pens work amazingly well for adult coloring pages, handwritten notes, colorful sketches, and so much more!

I absolutely love gel pens, and these GelWriter pens in particular are flawless for any use. I love to journal, and over time I've become a bit of a pen snob. Certain pens make a person's handwriting look better, are more pleasurable to write with, and even have fancy effects and finishes. The ink flows smoothly from the GelWriter pens and comes in the following styles: basic, glitter, metallic, neon, neon glitter, silver glitter, and pastel. The ink is acid-free, archival safe, water-based and most importantly, non-toxic. I know my journal entries will be just stunning if I use a deep purple glitter gel pen!

Coloring with the GelWriter pens is a real treat. Ordinarily I'd be skeptical of trying to color with pens; I'd be wary of taking forever to color in a large block of space. However, the ink flows so smoothly and readily with these pens that coloring really doesn't take long at all, and you can achieve exciting effects you wouldn't be able to with any other medium. For example, the glitter and metallic pens are so much more vibrant than a metallic colored pencil can be, especially on a white background. I had a lot of fun coloring in this peacock with the glitter pens!

I had some fun blending the colors, too! For the most part, layering similar colors actually works quite well, and sometimes a lighter color can even push back on a darker color to really create a unique effect. As with markers and any other ink-based medium, blending colors when wet is easier than when dry. Fortunately, if a color dries too quickly, you can always layer more of that color without the page getting too dark or the color thickening too much as it does with crayon or colored pencil.

An important factor to be aware of when coloring adult coloring pages is that the gel pens are often opaque or translucent, so if you go over black lines with a lighter color pen you may dull the lines. Try to avoid accidentally coloring over the lines when possible.

These gel pens do dry quickly, but try not to touch the parts colored with glitter pens so you don't accidentally wipe off the glitter! You don't have to worry about these pens smearing on regular paper. You also don't have to worry about finding the color you need in a chaos of 100 pens! These pens are organized into a durable, rotating stand that is helpful for keeping organized and also looks stunning on any table.

Give a classic coloring supply a try when you use gel pens! The GelWriter Gel Pens are a fabulous option for creating truly one-of-a-kind effects in your coloring projects.
