These origami folded paper stars are stinkin' cute! I've done a little bit of origami before and I'm hoping that may be a head start on this little star! It seems like there are a myriad of uses for these. Everything from celestial confetti coming out of envelopes to Christmas ornaments for small trees! That's what I'm thinking about if I can learn to fold it I want to decorate a two foot Christmas tree that I have. Maybe I can share the decorated tree with a local nursing home!

A friend of mine used to make these when we were younger! I'm excited to learn how she made them.

I am so excited to find this! Long, long ago, my aunt and a friend made a big batch of these for their Christmas trees. I was intrigued but rather young to try to make them. Now, I can! A warning, you have to scroll down to find the star this post refers to.

I haven't done these in ages! I used to put them into little jars and give them to my friends. I just might have to make a few tonight.

I love these! I used to make them in high school and leave them on my friend's desks. I'm so glad I can re-learn how to do it now!
