I have made these before and they do work very well with a minimum of effort and, of course, they're free. The only problem that I had was that they fell apart after awhile. Newspaper is kind of flimsy when it's wet and seedlings need to be damp all the time, but maybe if I had the containers closer together it would have worked better.
