I have to admit at first glance I thought that the artisan's bookmark was just waaay too simple for me and I almost passed it by, but then I realized there was a little more there. I really like the way the magnetic tape adheres through the page to clamp the bookmark to the page! Most paper bookmarks have no way of doing this and so they just fall off the corner or out of the book. The kitty is cute and if you're making the bookmark for a friend you can always match it to the color of your friend's feline friend! Thanks for sharing!

While Mollie's kitty bookmarks are cute, that tail becomes a nuisance sometimes... hence the loss of one star. @margiekins22 It is not absolutely necessary to buy bookmarks. Any scrap of paper or corner of an envelope would work. Sure, those things not too cute, but they are quite functional. Business cards work great too. Most people can come up with a grocery receipt if nothing else.
