Stencil 1 Repeat Wallpaper Stencils

Stencil1 is a street art-inspired brand founded in 2004 by artist, painter, graphic designer and DIY enthusiast Ed Roth. He's come up with some pretty great products including the 5.75 inch x 6 inch stencils that are great for crafts and mixed media. I am a huge fan of Chevron, so the Chevron repeat stencil is one of my favorites; it can be used on just about any craft project, but I personally would love to see it painted on a dresser drawer for some added fun. These smaller stencils are great when used with canvases, wood pieces, fabric and even shoes! Take an old pair of plain shoes and make them pop with cute butterflies or vines.


Also offered are larger Repeat Wallpaper Stenctils. You can brighten up a room with any stencil from Stencil 1. The different patterns of stencils can make any room pop. You can even make something as small as an invitation, if you're not up for making a larger project.


The stencils work best on smooth surfaces for a clean and crisp design.. It's recommended that you practice on a piece of cardboard before you begin your real project, so you become used to the way you have to paint the stencil. You wouldn't want to ruin your project without practicing. It is best to work with flat acrylic paint, as stencil paint may have trouble adhering to glossy finishes. Once you are prepped any ready to go, this project will take you no time, and you may find it soothing as you move your stencil along.
