Double Delight Valentine's Day Handmade Card
This Valentine's Day, show your Valentine how much you love them with this Double Delight Valentine's Day Handmade Card. Materials:
- 5.7" x 8.2" red cardstock
- 5.6" x 4" white textured cardstock
- 2.6" high natural wooden heart laser cut-out
- 0.6" high flat-sided silver filigree heart
- 0.6" wide red satin ribbon with white polka dots
- 0.5" wide self-adhesive silver fabric tape
- Red felt-tip pen
- Pilot silver marker pen
- Clear 3D gloss pen
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Quick-drying craft glue (such as Bostik Clear)
Instructions:
- Color the top of the wooden heart with the red felt-tip pen and allow to dry.
- Use the silver pen to draw squiggles all over the wooden heart. Then use the pen to add a frame around the heart and allow to dry.
- Cover the wooden heart with the clear 3D gloss. Gently pop any air bubbles that might appear with a pin and allow to dry for three hours before continuing.
- Glue the silver filigree heart on the wooden heart.
- Score the red cardstock to create a card sized 5.7” x 4.1”.
- With the fold on the left, centre and glue the white textured cardstock to the front of the card.
- Cut a strip of glitter tape to add to the left of the card. Fold it in half and affix it over the fold of the card. Cut off any protruding edges.
- In the same way as described in Step 7, add a strip of tape to the right front flap of the card.
- Glue the double heart decoration to the card.
- Make a bow with the ribbon and add it to the bottom of the card.
