Nice! I love decoupaging and old maps and this is a perfect way to combine the two into a fun project. It's pretty enough to give as a gift, too. If you don't want to cut up your maps, you can make photocopies and use those - also good for getting different colored backgrounds for the maps.

What a brilliant idea. I went to Home Depot and got the first letter of my first and last name. Now I am deciding what to cover them with. The reason I got two is that they will be used as bookends in the living room. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
