Classy Quilled Blue and White China

Did you know that paper quilling designs are also considered filigree designs? Filigree is often wire, but it's really just ornamental work. Paper and wire look very similar when formed into spirals as you see with this Classy Quilled Blue and White China piece. It's fantastic that you can replicate the look of wire filigree with paper. That's probably what draws most paper crafters toward learning how to quill paper. You can also use paper filigree designs on cards, scrapbooks, boxes, and more. It's just more versatile than wire. Quilling paper is also less expensive than wire used for filigree, which is always a bonus.
