Embroidered Dictionary Pages
"Did you know that you can embroider book pages? Even very thin pages, such as those from an encyclopedia or a dictionary. The trick is to make strengthen the paper and make it like linen paper such as that old maps were printed on. Then you can easily stitch on the paper with embroidery thread without it tearing. I use this technique to create some fun and unique dictionary art. I embroidered an illustration that was relevant to the dictionary page. "
