Toilet Paper Roll Bee Craft
"Little hands will love buzzing into action with this adorable toilet paper roll bee craft! It's a fun and simple way to turn an ordinary toilet paper roll into a friendly striped bee. You'll need an empty toilet paper roll, yellow and black construction paper (or a black marker), scissors, glue, googly eyes, and a black marker. First, cut a strip of yellow paper to fit around the toilet paper roll. Help your preschooler spread glue and carefully wrap the yellow paper around. Next, add those buzzing stripes by cutting thin strips of black paper or letting your child color thick black stripes directly onto the roll. Glue on two big googly eyes and use the marker to draw a big, friendly smile. Now it's time for wings! Help your child cut two simple wing shapes out of white paper or cardstock and glue them to the back of the bee. Get creative with pipe cleaners for fun antennas or add a little sting with a small yellow triangle at the bottom of the bee's body. For a final touch, thread string through the roll to make a hanging decoration. This craft is a great way for preschoolers to practice cutting, gluing, and drawing – all while making a cute bee friend! "
