Materials List
- 9" x 9" black cardstock
- 8.5" x 4.3" thick black cardstock
- Meyco Flower Twine stencil of a rose
- White acrylic paint
- Pilot silver marker pen
- Artline 210 Fineliner black pen
- Green, brown and red felt-tip pens
- Sponge (tip: use one that was inside a medicine bottle)
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Clear-drying craft glue (such as Bostik Clear)
Instructions:

Score the 9" x 9" black cardstock to create a card sized 9" x 4.4".

Decide which part of the Meyco stencil will be used. With the fold at the left, center and place the stencil on the card. Use a heavy object to hold it down while painting.

Use the white paint and the sponge to add the stencil design of the rose to the card. Carefully lift the stencil and allow the design to dry thoroughly.

Use the felt-tip pens and the Fineliner pen to highlight certain areas of the stenciled rose.

Take the 8.5" x 4.3" cardstock and cut out the inside, leaving a space of 0.5" from the outer edges of this piece to make a "frame."

Use the silver pen to draw small squiggles all around the "frame."

Glue the "frame" to the front of the card.
